Whitby Pavilion has been a vital part of the local community for more than 100 years - and Friends of Whitby Pavilion are dedicated to supporting it as a major arts and leisure venue for many more to come.

Friends aim to support and promote arts, culture, entertainment and leisure activities at the venue’s atmospheric, Victorian theatre and the more modern, multi-purpose Northern Lights suite.

With a membership of 250 plus, we raise funds, through subscriptions and other activities and events, to purchase equipment to enhance facilities and provide general help and support for users of the venue. And we aim to have fun while doing it!

So, if you want to be a part of something special, contribute your time or ideas, or just meet others who are passionate about live performance and events - you will be sure of a warm welcome!
