The Bluebells: Live in Concert

Following the release of the repackaged and remastered “Sisters” album, on the Last Night From Glasgow label in 2020, Glasgow band, The Bluebells are back to playing live and sounding great on the gig circuit again.
At this moment in time the band are recording a follow up to this classic album a mere 40 years later and the album is scheduled to be released in Spring 2023.
Originally released on London Records in 1984 “Sisters” contained some of the finest and infectious Scottish jangle pop song writing and included the hit singles “Cath”, “I’m Falling” and the UK number 1 single“Young at Heart”.
The Bluebells main troika of the band , Bobby Bluebell and the McCluskey Brothers, Ken and David will be joined on stage by Campbell Owens (Aztec Camera) on bass, Mick Slaven (Del Amitri /The Leopards) lead guitar and Douglas McIntyre (Love and Money/Port Sulpher) on rhythm guitar.
The band are looking forward to playing “Doune The Rabbit Hole “ festival as well as upcoming gigs at the “Edinburgh Festival” and in the new year a wee jaunt down to Whitby for the wonderful Whitby Steampunk Weekend, appearing Live In Concert in the beautiful Victorian Pavilion Theatre on Saturday 11th February.
